3 Future Technology In the view of Eric Schmidt
Google Car
The rapid development of technology will make the science fiction that usually only exist in the film come true. That's the prediction of the proposedGoogle Chairman Eric Schmidt in a speech at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2012 in Barcelona, Spain.

"People are predicting that the hologram and a car that can run itself willsoon become a reality is really true," he said as quoted by ABCNews, on Wednesday (02/29/2012). Here are three predictions of future technologyderived from Schmidt's speech:

1. Automatic steering cars will become common

Google has tested a technology that allows cars to run itself without human assistance. In fact, the car has been successfully run on public streetswithout significant obstacles.

According to Schmidt, the car has been tested as far as 322 thousandkilometers. Google using radar and other sensors so that the car in questioncan independently recognize the road, other vehicles or passersby.

2. Humans will be represented robot

Small robots will be used to represent human beings to various places. The robot is equipped with voice and video transmissions can be seen by thepeople they represent, so they need not attend in person.

"In the future you will be able to send a robot in every event," said Schmidt.Currently, this technology was the middle of the rapid development of robotics for a variety of uses.

3. Virtual reality through the internet

Scmidht state of Internet technology will allow people to use a kind of virtualreality for a visit to various places and countries. In this virtual reality, peoplecan gather freely without having to meet physically. But there may be aconnectivity problem in underdeveloped countries.

"It will redefine the relationship between the people in the world. In this new world, there would be little dictator," said Schmidt.
