Dream consists of a variety of ideas, emotions, sensations, or images that occur involuntarily in the mind when people are asleep. Of course most people prefer a beautiful dream while sleeping. There are several ways you can do that you have a beautiful dream.
Along the bed malamterjadi two sleep cycles, sleep is rapid eye movement (REM) and non-REM sleep. This cycle of alternating every 90 minutes and dreams occur during REM sleep.
Nightmares are usually going to happen because the reflection of stressful things like drugs, events or frightening visual images that you observe before bed. Because nightmares may affect sleep quality, it is important to practice to get a beautiful dream while sleeping.
Here are some ways you can do to get a beautiful dream at night, as reported by Livestrong, Monday (3/12/2012):
1. Do not watch horror movies at nightAvoid watching a movie or read a scary book before bedtime. You can bring fear into the bed, which can lead to nightmares, according to KidsHealth.org.
2. Avoid stimulant medication before bedtimeAvoid using drugs or other stimulants that can affect sleep, including alcohol, nicotine, caffeine, blood pressure medications and antidepressants, according to Scientific American.
Stimulant drugs or drink before bed can affect the initial phase of REM sleep and make you into a deeper sleep stages. But once you stop taking these drugs, you will experience deeper REM sleep, which can lead to nightmares, according to the National Sleep Foundation.
3. Relax before bedDo something relaxing before bedtime, because stress can cause nightmares. It is best to do activities that help you feel more comfortable, like soaking in the tub, reading books, listening to music or meditate to relax.
4. Make the room as comfortable as possibleMake your bedroom as a place only for sleep and intimacy. Make your bedroom as comfortable and relaxing as possible, such as choosing a mattress comfortable with the color of the curtains and the room temperature comfortable. By ensuring that you only focus on sleep and relaxation in the bedroom, you might have a better dream.
