Breakfast Can Reduce Stress at Night
A healthy breakfast has several components, including whole grains, low fatprotein, low fat milk and fresh fruits and vegetables. The combination of food groups that provide fiber, protein, complex carbohydrates and some fat,allowing your body to feel full longer, thus preventing you from snacking or overeating.
In studies conducted in laboratory-based Mindlab Sussex Innovation Centre,Brighton, participants who ate breakfast in the morning can get 89 percentreduction in anxiety when faced with challenging situations.
Participants who eat breakfast are also able to face the dilemma of 7 percentfaster than skipping breakfast, both mentally and physically.
In this study, participants were asked to perform a series of tests over two days, when the breakfast and no breakfast the other day.
In total, 61 percent showed improvement in language and arithmetic testsafter breakfast. Hand and eye coordination is also improved significantly,according to the study of the Cognitive Effects of Breakfast, as reported byDailymail, Tuesday (13/03/2012).
