Scientific evidence showing the benefits of morning exercise on a regular basis has been widely known. Even so, most people are still reluctant to implement these healthy habits. In fact, morning exercise proven to boost careers and productivity.
Throughout the year 2011, only one third of men and women aged 25-64 years in the United States who exercise regularly. Regular exercise in mild to moderate degree is good if done for 30 minutes five times a week. While strenuous exercise should be performed for 20 minutes three times a week.
In a book called "Wellbeing: The Five Essential Elements', the author, Tom Rath and Jim Harter, researching the quality and habits that affect the high level of social welfare, career, financial, physical, and life. When checking the daily habits that contribute to physical well-being, exercise in the morning prove most affecting. Research shows that exercise in the morning for 20 minutes can improve your mood for hours afterward.
"It is very easy indeed to put things off. But when exercising in the morning, because most people do realize that exercising in the morning to make a better mood to be more productive and have more energy throughout the day. People who have high levels of welfare to work early in the morning and reduces the weight of food during the day, "Rath said as reported by U.S. News, Tuesday (13/03/2012).
On the other hand, delaying exercise may interfere with sleep. Sleep is important for physical health, psychological and productivity. Research shows that vigorous exercise after 2 hours of sleep can impair the ability of the body to fall asleep. And after working all day, most people only have a few hours before bedtime can be used to exercise.
"People who exercise in the morning are more likely to make it a habit because little conflict with the daily schedule that can interfere with exercise routines," said Julia Valentour, exercise physiologist and program coordinator at the American Council on Exercise.
The best time to exercise should also be the best time to be easily kept.People who do not often get up early will be more difficult to exercise so much easier to put it off. Research shows that the most productive exercise occurs when the body temperature is high-high, usually in the afternoon.
"Exercising the body temperature is much higher yield strength, better performance, the muscles are warmer, more flexible and lower heart rate. But the only problem is that most people work until the afternoon," said Valentour.
